Google presented the Pixel 7 pair at the ideal time and it will be available in Pakistan in upcoming months. Similar to previous year, there are two models: the smaller Google Pixel 7 and the larger Pixel 7 Pro, all of which fulfill the same functions. The smaller one costs $60 less. The Pro, on the other hand, costs an additional $900 but has a superior display and camera.
Google Pixel 7 Pro
A real flagship, the Pixel 7 Pro has a large camera sensor and a sharp, fast refresh rate display. There aren’t many changes from the Pro from the previous year. The updated telephoto camera and the new Tensor G2 chipset are everything.
The phone has 12GB of RAM, much like last year, and offers storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB. No MicroSD slot is present. When it comes to the cameras, the main module uses a 50MP 1/1.31″ sensor (1.2 m) with 4-in-1 binning as an option. There is a 12MP 1.25-m ultra-wide camera with a 125.8° field of view. This year’s improvement includes the ultra-wide lens’s autofocus, which enables macro photography.
The primary camera includes both optical and electrical stabilization, and it can capture 4K films at 30 and 60 frames per second. The 48MP telephoto camera comes next. The phone also sports a 5000 mAh battery and a 6.71″ AMOLED display with a customizable refresh rate of 10-120Hz.
The Pixel 7 is significantly less expensive than the Pro version. Similar to the Pro, the Tensor G2 chipset is under a lot of pressure. You have an option between 128GB and 256GB of storage, while Google retained the RAM at 8GB. The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will receive 3 major OS updates and 5 years’ worth of security patches, same as the prior models.
A little bit smaller than the 6, the 7 is. Its display measures 6.3″. The phone weighs 197g and has physical measurements of 155.6 x 73.2 x 8.7mm, as opposed to 158.6 x 74.8 x 8.9mm and 207g for its predecessor. With FHD+ resolution, the display is still a flat AMOLED panel. However, this new panel still only offers a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone also includes a 4,355mAh battery.
The Pixel 7 uses a 50MP main camera (1/1.31″, 1.2m before binning) just like the Pro. The only thing connecting it is a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The phone uses Google’s Super Res Zoom image processing in conjunction with its main sensor’s relatively high resolution to zoom in. There is a 10.8MP selfie camera on both smartphones.
