Sales of Polestar electric cars increased by 125% during the first half of 2022, according to Polestar. The little car company that Volvo broke off is quietly succeeding in the EV market.

When the business presented the Polestar 1 as its first vehicle in 2017, after relaunching Polestar as a distinct and electric brand back in 2017, it had a slightly difficult but interesting start.

The Polestar Electric cars turned out to be a very pricey plug-in hybrid, which immediately appeared out of date when the company declared that they would exclusively produce all-electric vehicles moving ahead and will launch a “Tesla Model 3 challenger” a year later.

But that’s not how it turned out. The Polestar 2 ended up being a fine electric vehicle, although it was delayed and cost more than Tesla’s Model 3.

Even so, Polestar is beginning to experience some real success as the electric vehicle program gains momentum.

The rise can be partially attributed to Polestar increasing its retail presence from 103 to 125 locations worldwide, with an additional 30 locations anticipated to launch by the end of 2022. It now conducts business in 25 markets worldwide, up from 19 at the start of the year.
