The Combine Fold 2, a follow-up to the Chinese company’s first foldable phone, is a book-style foldable device Xiaomi is promoting for a variety of features, including its ultraslim design. The device is the world’s slimmest commercially available book-style folding telephone because it is 11.2mm thick when folded. It is approximately 4mm slimmer than Samsung’s recently released Galaxy Z Fold 4 model. In order to achieve the slim design, which enables a tighter fold on the flexible show panel across the 8.8mm-tall hinge construction, Xiaomi credits its “micro waterdrop” hinge.

Combination Fold 2 option 2 displays: A 6.56-inch panel on the quilt may be opened to reveal an 8-inch interior display. There is one 20-megapixel front-facing sensor, three cameras on the back, plus a telephoto digital camera.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen Plus 1 chipset, which is also used in Samsung’s and Motorola’s most recent foldable phones, powers the Combine Fold 2. A 4,500 mAh double-cell battery, a Harman Kardon twin speaker system, and a 67 watt quick charging support are also included. The Mi Combine Folds’ entry-level model costs $1,330.
